I am a freelance Recording Engineer, Producer, and Live-Sound Engineer living in Portland, Maine. For the past 12 years the majority of my recording work has been done at The Studio, here in Portland. I have had the opportunity to record, mix and master works by dozens of local artists of every different style and genre, as well as a handful of national acts. See Discography. In addition to my work in the music industry, I spend a large portion of my time at The Studio working with clients in advertising. Over the years it seems like I've done thousands of local and national, radio and television commercials. Clients like LLBean, Sugarloaf, Tom's of Maine, Electronic Arts, Discovery Channel, and A&E Television are just a sample. Some other things on my resume include audiobooks, ADR for feature films, and forensic cleanup as well. I am also a very active Live-Sound Engineer, mixing at clubs of every size, all over New England. I work with Rustic Overtones, as their engineer and tour manager, and that allows me to travel quite a bit, enjoying some beautiful venues all up and down the east coast. Currently I am also chief engineer at the new Port City Music Hall, coordinating and mixing shows weekly, with local, regional, and national touring artists. Last, but not least, I live in the beautiful West End of Portland, with my amazing wife, Jennifer, and 4 year old son, Owen. |
